Hey Hannah, I love your essay topic. I think that it is very straightforward and easy for viewers to follow. One thing that I would recommend for further explaining your essay would be a picture including a environment. For example maybe a picture cooking with all of her ingredients and cook book out or a picture that includes more of her living room just so that the viewers can get a better understanding of who the subject is.
You have done a wonderful job of capturing emotions in the picture. As a viewer it is easy to see that she loves her dog and engaging with people both in person and over the phone.
I would work on finding an environmental picture and continue exhausting the POV when you take pictures! Sometimes the most unexpected angles capture the most appealing images. Good luck with the rest of this project and have fun with it!
